Being an individual is a gift we are given the moment we are born. As a child, we have no choice but to be ourselves because that is all that is expected of us. Yet, somehow as we begin to socialize with others, the pressures of being (insert-positive-adjective-here) enough start to skew who we already are. We start comparing at an early age. I'm starting to wonder, at what age do we outgrow these pressures, or learn to ignore them, and be content with ourselves?
For twenty-something's, pressure can build from anywhere but you have to remember: "No one is you and that is your power."
